Adoptable Pets

  • All animals are spayed or neutered.
  • All pets are examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, and micro chipped.
  • We interview you to ensure a good match and then bring the foster pet to your home for a visit with family members and other pets in the household.
  • Foster Pet Outreach requires a 24 hour waiting period before placing a pet in a new home.
  • Our adoption fee is $100 for Adult cats, $50 for Senior cats (7+) or Long-timers (over 1 year in foster care) and $200 for dogs.
  • We limit our adoptions to an area within approximately 60 miles of Peoria, Illinois.

Most of our foster pets come to us as strays. Some come to us when their owners have become seriously ill or due to changing life situations are unable to care for their pets. Because we are a small group of volunteers and have chosen to give a quality of individual care, we can only accept a few animals each month.
