If you are looking for someone to cuddle up next to you in bed and wake you up with kisses then Meryl is your girl.  She is sweet, affectionate and very social with everyone.  She will jump on your lap when you sit down to relax.  She came to us with heartworm and was very ill.  She received intensive treatment and is now heartworm free.  She will need to continue taking Heartguard, but does not need any additional medication.  We are working on getting her to gain the weight she lost during her illness.  She has come through all this with a fighting spirit and is a happy little girl.  She would be a great addition to any family.
