Maizey is an amazing little girl.  She came to us with severe obsessive compulsive behavior issues.  She would chase her tail nonstop and bite it until it bled.   It is believed that this is how she learned to deal with the stress in her life and the conditions she was living in.   After months of love and behavior modification training, the obsessive behavior is under control.  Maizey is now a loving, happy little girl.  She is housebroken, sleeps all night in her crate and gets along with other dogs and cats.  She had even learned a few tricks.  To keep her behavior moving in a positive direction, she does have some specifics required for her adoption.

•  She will only be adopted within the immediate Peoria area.  This is to allow the foster home to help with her transition to her new home if needed.
• No children under 12
• Fenced in yard would be preferred.   She loves to be outside and explore.  A fence will allow her to be out and be safe. 
• Limited time alone during the day.  Someone who works eight hours a day will not be a good match.  She loves people and needs the interaction.
•  Someone willing to keep her socialized and challenged.  She is very smart and loves to learn new things.
