Watch for a new Cat Sanctuary Coming Soon to Peoria!!  Purrsonalities is the new cat sanctuary being built in North Peoria to improve the lives of homeless cats. Purrsonalities™ will be an approximately 3,500-square-foot sanctuary that will provide a healthy place for approximately 50 homeless cats and kittens to wait until their new owners find them. Strict standards for ventilation, nonporous materials, isolation rooms, observation rooms, and much more will minimize disease transmission in the sanctuary. Most cats will live in community housing rooms (no cages) of 5 or 6 with screened-in porches that open onto an enclosed courtyard where visitors and volunteers can relax and enjoy the outdoors. Cats that prefer human companionship over feline will have their own kitty condos. Families can spend a leisurely hour or two at Purrsonalities looking for their new feline companions, and well-trained volunteers will assist prospective adopters to find the perfect match. Volunteers will also utilize behavioral techniques to improve the sociability and adoptability of the feline residents. Volunteers will have a comfortable meeting room for social activities and education. The meeting room will also host educational events for children and adults, and seminars on topics concerning animal welfare. To volunteer or donate to this fabulous cause, log on to http://www.purrsonalities.net/

Spay & Neuter help available for Cats & Kittens! $30 for male cats, $40 for female cats, and $25 for feral cats.   http://www.purrsonalities.net/  Phone: 309.637.6000 or Email: purrsonalities4peoria@yahoo.com for more information.
