Hi, my name is Mel.  My foster mom says I'm a very mellow fellow. I think she likes me a lot! I know I sure am glad to be with her. I was found along the highway, with 5 other dogs. I was a lucky dog - three of the others had been hit and killed by cars. So this never happens again, I must go to a securely fenced yard home only. I'm so glad my girlfriend and I were rescued! Her name is Bridgett. I just love her! We both were adopted right away, but we both missed each other so very much! We misbehaved a bit. Imagine losing the love of your life! We're back together again, and we want to stay that way. If you adopt me, please adopt Bridgett too! Let me tell you about her. She's small, and cute. Bridgette always finds the best stuff to do. We run and play together. She's just the best! We'd love to share our life with you, and teach you all about joy.

Foster Pet Outreach prefers to limit our adoptions to an area within approximately 60 miles of Peoria, Illinois so we can keep our promise to return the pet to our foster care program if the adoption is not successful.
