Foster Pet Outreach prefers to limit our adoptions to an area within approximately 60 miles of Peoria, Illinois so we can keep our promise to return the pet to our foster care program if the adoption is not successful. Out of State adoptions are out of the question. Please contact us via email for further information.

My name is Happy and it fits me perfectly! I am a happy go lucky type of gal. I enjoy meeting new people and will roll over on my back for belly rubs. I also get along great with cats and dogs. I am crate-trained.

I really like squeaky toys and tennis balls. A fenced yard will be best for me to keep me nice and safe when I want to run and play.

In my new home, I would like an adult only home or a family with older teens. I like to be devoted to one person. My foster Dad is ok, but my foster Mom is the best!  She says that I tend to have a bit of a dominant personality and need a good leader to show me the ropes. I like to guard my stuff. It's Mine!! Sharing is hard... Housebreaking is tough, too. I can stay dry, but sometimes on the way out the door, I forget to hold it. So close!! My vet says I can learn this - it's not a physical problem. I'm going to need an experienced owner to help me be my best. Can you help me figure this out??

My foster Mom thinks I am one of the friendliest dogs she has ever met. I rarely bark, walk well on my leash and I always wag my tail every time she sees me. I LOVE to cuddle up in her lap at night and watch TV together. I'll bet you & I could be best friends, too.
